Contemporary Stainless Solutions takes immense pride in delivering exceptional stainless steel solutions. Our latest project at the Piper Residence in Newcastle East highlights our expertise in custom design and craftsmanship.

Our team custom-designed a copper kitchen bench and butlers bench for the customer, a statement piece that will stand the test of time. 

Crafting and installing this piece was a collaborative effort by the CSS team. An extremely heavy and unique bench to manufacture, the bench took the strength of seven tradesmen to lift it carefully into place! 

To seamlessly integrate the bench into its surroundings, our team skillfully folded the copper, following the shapes of the walls and cladding. This attention to detail created a harmonious fusion of form and function, adding an architectural touch to the space. 

Our customer chose copper as the primary material for its unique ability to age gracefully. Over time, the bench will change in colour and character, but its durability will remain unaffected. 

While aesthetics were paramount, we also prioritised strength and stability. The bench was crafted using 2mm thick copper sheeting and lined with MR particle board, ensuring it will stand the test of time.

From the moment the bench left our workshop to its safe arrival at the Piper Residence, we handled its transportation with utmost care. Blankets and protective measures were employed, ensuring it reached its destination unscathed and ready to take centre stage.
