In collaboration with Core Project Group, Contemporary Stainless Solutions recently took on an exciting project to transform Glencore’s office space into a haven of high-end luxury and modernity. 

At the heart of this project features high-end commercial office balustrade fit out that makes a statement of sophistication upon entry. Our goal was to seamlessly blend style, safety, and functionality into one harmonious composition. 

We installed custom framed 12mm toughened glass balustrades supplied by the team at G James Australia, fitted to provide an unobstructed view while ensuring the highest safety standards. Custom designed, high detail 50mm brass handrails round out the entire look of the staircase, adding a touch of timeless elegance. These handrails are continuous and interconnecting with returns at top and bottom given as special dispensation. CSS rolled the end return at the bottom of the stairs, giving it a unique, rolled look at the grand entrance of the staircase.

The mild steel balustrade posts were custom-manufactured to suit the rake of the stair stringers, fully welded and custom powder-coated in a matte black finish to meet the style of the new Glencore HQ building aesthetic. 

Overall, we are thrilled with the finished product. Working with Core Project Group, the visionary builders behind this project, was a pleasure as always, and we are proud to have been a part of such a modern, unique, purposeful fit out such as Glencore HQ.
