What We Do

With almost two decades’ experience, Contemporary Stainless Solutions are renowned for our quality products, expert finishes, and superior customer service.

Our team are experts in the design, manufacture and installation process. We can fabricate stainless steel, aluminium, steel, brass and copper. In addition, custom and prefabricated glass options are also available to our customers.

Christian Ison – Manager | Director

Manager and Director of CSS, Christian is the backbone of the company.

Starting his career at BHP as an apprentice boilermaker, Christian completed his trade and went on to work in various roles, learning fabrication, manufacturing, design and construction skills.

Since the beginning, Christian had a vision of running his own business. After putting in the personal and professional work, he established Contemporary Stainless Solutions in 2005.

Christian’s role within the company is holistic; he manages tradesman, facilitates estimating, schedules the production of work, dabbles in design and construction and coordinates our large commercial projects.

For the last 30 years, Christian has spent his spare time coaching Junior Rugby League teams, work that he finds incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, and an opportunity to give back to the community.

At the end of the day, Christian likes to kick back with a few cheers and enjoy down time with family and friends.

Olivia Ison – Estimator | Administration

Meet Olivia, an integral part of the family business since 2019, with an array of skills and knowledge in Business Administration.

Olivia’s role within the Contemporary Stainless Solutions team is Estimation and Administration. You’ll find Olivia helping with quotations across all projects, as well as assisting with marketing and social media work and keeping the CSS website up to date.

With her partner Tom, Olivia is fur-mum to two German Shephard x Labradors named Maggie and Lenny, who they love to spend their weekends with.

Olivia always goes above and beyond to assist our clients, help the CSS team and of course, to do her job as best as she can! She has obtained her white card, enabling her to head out to our job sites in a safe manner. Because of this, Olivia has a more detailed understanding of our clients’ needs every step of the way.

Olivia has successfully completed her Certificate II and III in Business Administration and was awarded Trainee of the Year in 2017.

Adele Ison – Administration | Manager

Adele brings to CSS more than 40 years in Business Administration experience. Adele spent a large portion of her career working in various roles within Government and throughout this time has built an impressive skill set that translates seamlessly into her role at CSS.

You’ll find Adele looking after our accounts and MYOB, managing human resources and keeping the CSS team organised!

Adele has two children, a grandson and a Bichon Frise named Fletch.

When she’s not helping run the family business, Adele spends her free time giving back to the community, volunteering for a local charity that supports and advocates for women experiencing domestic violence.

Adele loves travelling, walking, watching footy and socialising with family and friends (and enjoys a glass or two of bubbles every now and then!).
